Board adopts 2026–27 calendar, approves consent agenda and employee premium holiday; moves to executive session

The Oak Creek‑Franklin Joint School District board concluded a number of formal actions at its Nov. 24 meeting.
The board approved the meeting agenda by voice vote after a motion from Petzik and a second from Whitman. The board then approved the consent agenda (motion by Dirigniglia) including minutes, payroll and new grades 7–8 art courses. Meredith Whitman moved and McNally seconded a motion to adopt draft 12 as the 2026–27 school year calendar; the motion passed on voice vote. The board also approved a December 2025 employee premium‑share holiday for the district’s health‑care premium portion; trustees described the move as a one‑time benefit and expressed appreciation.
Near the meeting’s close, the board moved into executive session under Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(b) to consider personnel matters. The motion to convene executive session was moved and seconded and passed on a roll call with the members present recorded as “yes.”
