Two GSI sites at Little Canyon Ridge remain to be repaired and tree removal and grading on Toms Creek are scheduled depending on weather.
Supervisors raised specific local concerns — Pine Creek, Canyon Ridge and a hazardous tree on Powerhouse/ Pearhouse Holler — and Hartless agreed to supply exact location details and a schedule the following day. The board thanked VDOT crews for work on Steve Branch and other routes and requested an engineer review to assess guardrail criteria at identified spots.
VDOT staff will return follow-up information and continue to coordinate seasonal patching as conditions allow.
