The Whitnall School District board approved two action items: 5a, proposed new courses, and 5b, a proposed agreement with Safro Technologies for a safety system.
Motions for both items were moved and seconded and carried by voice vote. On 5b, district legal counsel and staff reviewed the contract language and confirmed the district has termination rights and that the presented agreement is no-cost to the district as currently structured.
What’s next: staff said they will bring contract recommendations and the prioritized bid packages to the board beginning in February, including any packages that meet the threshold requiring board approval.
