Councilor Hatmaker reported the Planning Commission’s recent actions: an applicant withdrew a final-plat request for property at 630 Riverbend Road; the commission approved a two-lot final plat for property at 400 Beets Avenue (zoned R2); and the commission granted a one-year extension to KMAC Development LLC for a previously approved preliminary PUD on Broad Street. The preliminary PUD had been approved on 12/09/2024 and covers a proposed 52-townhome project.
Hatmaker said the amendment to the subdivision regulations was also under review and that the commission will continue workshops to refine language on private access easements and related items.
Next steps: the applicant with the Broad Street PUD will have one additional year under the preliminary approval to advance final plans or seek further extensions; staff will continue drafting subdivision regulation language for future workshops.
