Washington Township Council withholds $10,000 Ambulance Corps payment pending review

The roll call recorded affirmative votes from Councilman Casio, Councilman Sears and Councilman Ullman; Councilwoman Velez and the council president were not present at that point in the roll call. Administrator/finance staff confirmed the specific PO and check identifiers discussed during the meeting: PO 25-00032 and check 46145 for $10,000 were cited during the motion.
The council instructed finance to withhold that specific check while staff continues to investigate and provide an accounting and update at a later meeting. The transcript shows the amendment passed by recorded affirmative votes in the meeting record.
