Commissioner Larry Harvey moved to award the contract, identifying it on the record as the "26-01 crane removal Port Putnam" project. The motion was seconded, commissioners voted verbally in favor, and Chair Wilkinson announced the motion carried.
The board did not provide further budget detail in the meeting packet beyond the $75,000 procurement amount presented at the dais. Staff said removal of the crane is an immediate, site-specific action intended to enable subsequent work on port access and related infrastructure.
