Commission moves reserves for roads, EMS and law enforcement; approves related resolutions

At its Dec. 15 meeting the Bourbon County Commission approved a set of routine financial transfers to reflect completed work and to fund operations.
County Clerk Susan Walker introduced four resolutions:
- Resolution 44‑25: transfer Road & Bridge sales tax to the Road & Bridge account to pay for completed work. - Resolution 45‑25: transfer $26,530.06 from EMS reserve into the EMS operating fund for equipment. - Resolution 46‑25: transfer $250,000 from jail sales tax to law enforcement to match budgeted amounts. - Resolution 47‑25: transfer $60,200 from inmate fees to the general fund (to cover longevity pay).
Each resolution was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. Commissioners briefly discussed timing and documentation for prior transfers and noted the board will continue to formalize transfers by resolution going into 2026.
The transfers will be executed by the county clerk and finance staff as authorized under the resolutions.
