In the Coryell Central Appraisal District election (resolution 2025-30), staff reported four nominees and the city’s allocation of votes. Council discussed vote totals from other local entities and voted to allocate 211 of the city’s votes to Inez Faison and the remainder to Fred Chavez. Staff noted the ballot must be submitted to the appraisal district by Dec. 15.
For the Lampasas Central Appraisal District (resolution 2025-31), staff said the city had 162 votes to distribute among five nominees. Council members discussed whether any candidates were local; finding none identified, the council chose to divide the votes evenly among the five nominees (with any odd remaining votes assigned per staff direction) and approved the resolution.
