During consideration of the license, a council member moved to approve and another seconded the motion; the council voted in favor. The council asked the on-site applicant to provide a name and address. Applicant Adler Kennedy introduced himself and gave his address as "N 3926 Liberty Street, Sullivan," and said Savory plans to open "around New Year's" with "a selection of soups, salads, appetizers, entrees, desserts, everything made from scratch, casual bistro setting." The mayor encouraged the applicant to notify City Hall when the business opens so the opening can be announced.
The council made issuance conditional on the standard municipal prerequisites for alcohol sales: a health inspection certificate and an occupancy permit. No opposition or abstentions were recorded on the motion in the meeting transcript.
