Sponsors said conformance will end overlapping taxation and the city will temporarily reimburse affected townships on a declining schedule (up to 12 years).

• Resolution 2025-72 (Rexel services/equipment): Council authorized additional funds to exceed the $75,000 threshold for Rexel services to replace headworks storm pumps and influent/effluent pumps, citing supplier compatibility with existing MCCs and supply-chain risks.

• Resolution 2025-73 (insurance claim reimbursement): Council approved a recommended payment (~$8,002.67) to reimburse a property owner for water-damage repairs after a city-owned fire line valve leaked; the administration noted sovereign immunity but supported the goodwill reimbursement per the insurance claims board recommendation.

• Appointment: Drew Paul was nominated and appointed by majority roll call to fill a council seat vacated by Miss Konapik and was sworn in during the meeting.
