The Beresford City Council approved a series of payments, change orders, budget items and subsidy drawdowns during its meeting.
Pay requests and change orders: Council authorized pay request no. 7 to Metro Construction in the amount of $555,616.80 related to ongoing housing development work. The council also approved Change Order No. 2 on the South 7th Street Utility Extension Project and authorized payment to First Grade Excavation for $47,258.57 (change order), and later approved the final pay request (no. 6) to First Grade Excavation for $36,125.43.
Budgets and payroll: Council authorized monthly payroll release totaling $970,840.48. Council adopted the 2026 enterprise budgets for water and golf course accounts as presented and discussed revenue and expense trends in those enterprise accounts.
Personnel actions: The council approved step increases for at least two employees listed in the record (an employee referred to as 'mister Connerboom' to $25.52 effective Dec. 11 and Rachel Johnson to $23.68 per hour effective June 2025 as stated in the meeting minutes).
