Homeowner Tyler Wilson of the Lake Landor community told the board that a water main break over Thanksgiving left his neighborhood without reliable water for several days and prompted a boil-water advisory. “This rate hike cannot and should not be allowed to happen,” he said, adding that he had bought bottled water and suffered disruptions to a family holiday.
