Gaithersburg honors police officers for lifesaving response; names employee recognition winners

Officers Bautista, Chris Beadlin, Sergeant Dan McCarthy and Officer Christian Budd performed CPR and used a department AED, administering care for more than 12 minutes until Montgomery County Fire Rescue Services arrived. The department reported the victim regained a pulse and was later discharged from hospital care and moved to a rehabilitation facility.
Captain Jan Lee Renard of Montgomery County Fire Rescue Services provided written praise for the officers— performance and the council presented Lifesaving Awards.
In a separate presentation city staff named Anna Bonilla, program supervisor with Parks, Recreation and Culture, and the accounts payable team as the city—s third‑quarter employee recognition winners for organizing a large National Night Out event and for handling a high influx of invoices at the start of the fiscal year.
