Board approves conveyance of two tax-foreclosed Havelock parcels to high bidders

County Attorney reported details for both parcels: Parcel 60631004 had a final high bid of $28,000; the combined original taxes and foreclosure costs were stated as $21,968.98 and the tax value was listed as $35,000. Parcel 6059030 had a high bid of $10,000 with original taxes and foreclosure costs of $3,619.85 and a tax value of $26,250. The City of Havelock had already given final approval on both conveyances and the county moved to adopt resolutions approving conveyance after expiration of the upset-bid period.
Both resolutions were approved by roll call; the county attorney said the intent was to get the properties back on the tax rolls.
