• Consent agenda — Motion by Trustee Humphreys, second by Trustee Thomas; board approved by voice vote (recorded as unanimous; motion carries).
• Safety and security upgrade final payment — Motion to accept the safety and security upgrade project and approve final payment to Performance Services Incorporated in the amount of $102,363; mover Trustee Humphreys, second Trustee (recorded as Kleece); motion carries 7–0.
• 2024–25 Annual Financial Report — Whitley Penn presented the draft audited statements and a clean (unmodified) opinion was reported; Trustee Humphreys moved approval, motion seconded, and the board approved the annual financial report 7–0. The federal single‑audit portion remains pending release of the OMB compliance supplement.
• Sports Netting Systems contract for ballpark netting — Board approved contract award of $76,796.55 via the interlocal purchasing system; motion carried 6–1 after extended discussion about safety and competing capital priorities.
• Revised compensation schedule (FY 2025–26) — Motion to approve revised compensation schedules (including a $1.50 hourly raise for bus drivers) passed unanimously. Trustees debated whether the raise is sufficient and discussed retention and overtime implications.
• Resolution casting HCAD board ballot — Board voted to cast votes for nominee Martina LaVona Dixon to the Harris County Appraisal District board; recorded abstentions were noted and the motion carried.
