Pottsgrove board approves $12 million bond authorization, awards facilities contracts and approves temporary BCBA hire; Apple laptop lease tabled

The Pottsgrove School District board voted on a package of finance and facilities items at its Dec. 2 meeting, including a unanimous roll-call approval to issue general obligation bonds of approximately $12,000,000 to finance stadium and other capital improvements.
The bond resolution was presented as a means to finance design, construction, furnishing and equipping of stadium and other capital projects. The board conducted a roll-call vote that was recorded as unanimous in favor (9–0). Following the bond approval, administration recommended coordinating an Apple laptop and lab-computer lease with the bond terms; the board agreed to table the laptop lease (item 10.6) for further review in January.
Other finance and facilities decisions included approval of a temporary, full-time board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) through Sunbelt Staffing for the 2025–26 school year to cover an employee on FMLA, and approval of repairs to high-school heat exchangers for approximately $56,000. The board also awarded the low, responsible bidder for high-school tennis-court reconstruction to a firm identified in the meeting as "Saks and Sons," and approved the invoice payments for November 2025 totaling $1,929,918.49.
