Votes at a glance: Tunkhannock board approves personnel contracts, transportation and financial actions

At its regular meeting the Tunkhannock Area School District board approved a series of routine but substantive motions affecting personnel, transportation, legal services and district finances.

Key votes included:

- Personnel report: The board approved the personnel report as presented; the roll call recorded one "no" vote (Doctor O'Shierich).

- Business manager contract: The board approved a five-year contract for Christine Parish, retroactive to July 1, covering her role as business manager and converting her from an Act 93 coverage arrangement to an individual contract as required by state code.
