Board re-elects Schroeder as president; McElroy holds vice presidency

The Tacoma School District No. 10 Board of Directors completed its annual leadership elections, re-confirming President Schroeder by roll-call vote and re-electing Chelsea McElroy as vice president.

Board procedure was read into the record at the start of the meeting: members must nominate and second candidates, the board must conduct roll-call votes, and a majority of board members (three or more) is required to elect officers. After nominations and a second, the chair called the roll; the chair then announced that Schroeder had been duly elected president and congratulated the newly seated vice president.
