The Plant Commission voted unanimously to recommend that Crown Point City Council approve a rezoning request for roughly 70 acres at 2021 West 133rd Avenue, the commission said during its Nov. 24 meeting.
Michael Herbers, representing Diamond Peak Homes, told the commission the applicant (Capdev LLC) is seeking to change the zoning from R-1A to R-1 to allow single-family lots of approximately 80 by 135 feet. "So this evening, we're looking for a favorable recommendation to the council to rezone plus or minus 70 acres of land at the subject address 2021 West 133rd Avenue from R 1 A to R 1," Herbers said, and provided conceptual layouts and an initial build-out timeline.
