A committee member announced during the Nov. 5 meeting that Love in Hands and the 513 Relief Bus will operate a mobile pantry and provide medical services in North College Hill on Thursday, Nov. 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is being coordinated with the county’s designated food‑pantry funds and local partners, including Light of the World Church and volunteers identified by Reverend Suggs.
Committee members asked staff to post flyer information widely — city website and social channels — and to distribute hard copies to reach residents who need the assistance. Members said the event also includes targeted help for federal employees affected by furloughs and cited possible water‑bill assistance contingent on proof of impact.
The committee encouraged members to volunteer and to help by distributing flyers and sharing the event through neighborhood networks.
