The Bonner County Board of Commissioners on Dec. 9 approved a contract with IT1 Consulting to migrate the Bonner County Sheriff’s Office email from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365.
A presenter (on behalf of the absent sheriff) said the work mirrors an administrative-side migration already underway for county IT. The contract totals $79,673.86: $25,100 for professional services; $1,662.50 for a migration bundle; and $52,911.36 for Microsoft 365 licenses. The presenter stated the Sheriff’s 911 Technology telephone account has sufficient funds (account ending in 6920) to cover the cost.
The board voted to accept the IT1 contract and authorized the chair to sign the agreement administratively. Commissioners asked staff to double-check the packet upload and memo language for clarity before the meeting packet is posted online.
The sheriff was noted as attending a conference in Boise and did not present in person. No public comment opposed the contract during the item.
