Saline Area Schools board approves amended agenda, consent items and two library-board reappointments

Following a motion to remove action item 8a, described in the meeting as "approval of the 7740 video surveillance and electronic monitoring" policy, the board approved the agenda as revised by voice vote. Later, trustees approved an amended consent agenda after a member requested that the Board of Education retreat minutes be pulled and presented at the November meeting.
The board voted to reappoint Stephanie Gray and Lori Byron to the Saline District Library Board for two-year terms beginning Dec. 1, 2025; the motion was made and seconded during the meeting and carried on a voice vote (recorded as 5-0). The meeting record shows two absences for the session.
