Corsicana ISD board approves targeted improvement plan for middle and high schools

Presenter cited measurable improvement in the campus "closing the gap" scores for the high school (reported as 45 → 53 → 60 between 2021 and 2024) and for the middle school (reported 65 → 72), and set district targets for meeting and above: ELAR at 44% and math at 47% (middle) and 38% (high).
Board members asked for clarifications about course locations and staffing; the presenter confirmed the real estate course is at the high school and Human Body Systems at the middle school and said teacher names would be supplied after the meeting.
