Planning commission approves Apple Grove condominium preliminary plans and routine items

Preliminary approval: The commission approved preliminary plans for the Apple Grove Condominium (60 lots on 4.1 acres within the R10/PUD zone). Staff said the DRC reviewed the plans on Sept. 9 and that red-line comments had been addressed; the preliminary review passed by unanimous vote after a motion by Commissioner Romero and a second by Commissioner Hoffman.
Administrative approvals: Commissioners also unanimously approved the Planning Commission meeting schedule for 2026 (Tuesdays, second and fourth at 7 p.m.) and the minutes of the Sept. 23, 2025 meeting. Each action passed on voice vote.
Next steps: The Apple Grove project will continue through the regular subdivision and engineering review process where detailed construction plans, utilities and other technical matters will be addressed.
