The Town of Saint John Plan Commission on Dec. 17 approved several sets of past meeting minutes and granted requests to publish multiple agenda items for a Jan. 21, 2026 public hearing.

Commission members recorded attendance and then approved the Oct. 15, Nov. 5, Nov. 19 and Dec. 3 meeting minutes after motions and seconding. Mr. Gill moved to approve the Oct. 15 minutes, Mr. Vogel seconded and the motion carried on voice vote. Similar motions carried for the Nov. 5, Nov. 19 and Dec. 3 minutes.

The commission also voted to grant requests to publish a set of items for public hearing on Jan. 21, 2026, including several one‑lot subdivision proposals and the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) review. Planning staff noted the UDO had undergone multiple review sessions and legal and engineering edits and recommended scheduling a public hearing. The motion to publish the UDO carried with a recorded abstention.

The commission adjourned after opening the floor to public comment; no members of the public spoke.
