Longmont commission recommends three candidates to city council, moves December meetings to 6 p.m.

The Longmont Planning and Zoning Commission on Nov. 19, 2025, forwarded a slate of candidates to city council and adjusted meeting times for December events.
Vice chair Pullen summarized interview results and moved that the commission recommend Andrew Jordan for a full regular term (expiring Dec. 31, 2030), Devin Edgley Wells to fill an unexpired regular term (expiring Dec. 31, 2027), and Ryan Forbes to fill an alternate term (expiring Dec. 31, 2026). Commissioner Wayne and others said the applicant pool was well qualified and that several candidates were closely ranked. The commission voted unanimously, 7–0, to forward the recommendations to city council.
The commission emphasized that these recommendations are forwarded for city council action and do not constitute final appointments. Vice chair Pullen and commissioners encouraged candidates who were not selected to apply again in future cycles.
Separately, planning staff told the commission an annexation is tentatively scheduled for Dec. 17 and recommended an early start because of anticipated public interest. Vice chair Pullen moved to set the special Dec. 10 meeting and the Dec. 17 meeting start time to 6:00 p.m.; the motion passed unanimously.
The commission closed the meeting after roughly 35 minutes. The recommended candidate names and the meeting‑time changes were recorded in motions the commission will forward to city council and staff, respectively.
