City staff presented two ABC (alcoholic beverage control) license applications.
Marybeth said Baltimore Hospitality Group applied for a restaurant retail liquor license for Antidock Pizza Shop at 409 23rd Avenue; staff noted the proposed hours of operation and the business’s proximity to an existing peanut shop. Marybeth also presented an application by The Drunken Professor, a beverage boutique LLC at 589 Learning B Wallace Boulevard North Unit A, seeking a lounge retail liquor license with proposed hours Tuesday–Saturday 11 a.m.–8 p.m. and possible Sunday hours depending on demand. Marybeth said both applicants had attended prior public meetings and that the Drunken Professor would be present at tonight’s meeting.
No final licensing decisions were recorded in the open meeting; staff introduced the applications and the applicants were scheduled to appear to answer questions or provide additional information.
