The Clerk read the roll; members recorded as present or absent during roll call included Michael Covington, Steven Goodpaster, Marcus Hilliard, Catherine Nogrod, Marcus Kennedy and Commissioner Courtney Durrett. The Chair confirmed a quorum, stating there were eight members present. The committee then adopted the meeting agenda after a motion was made and seconded and approved the adoption by voice vote. Later, the committee moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting; that motion was seconded and likewise approved by voice vote.
Commissioner Courtney Durrett, the county commission representative to the ethics committee, told members the session "does look like this may be my last meeting on this board," and noted she had served on the committee for four years "since September 2020," thanking members and wishing them well as she departs.
The Chair announced the committee's next quarterly meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. in the main assembly room. With business complete, the Chair adjourned the meeting.
