Rio Grande City EDC approves multiple economic assistance agreements, authorizes beautification funding

Minutes and staff materials showed the board intends legal review and formal performance agreements to accompany the economic-assistance approvals where indicated. The transcript records repeated references to “pending legal performance” for at least two items. The board also postponed consideration of a draft gift deed proposed by the county historical foundation for property to be used in the International Drive project; staff said the deed is a draft and has not yet been reviewed by the foundation.
