The council said funds will come from a downtown/Christmas decorations line item.
Preservation Torrington's president thanked the council for using city funds to recover the sleigh and offered to help find a location for display, including the possibility of returning the artifact to the Yankee Peddler lobby if feasible. The motion passed with recorded "aye" votes.
