At its Dec. 18 meeting the Woodbridge Township Board of Education voted to adopt the superintendent's agenda and to approve recommendations from several standing committees, and it approved a slate of personnel items with one recorded abstention.
Superintendent Dr. Massimino presented the superintendent's report for November and recommended 20 items. A motion to adopt the superintendent's agenda was made, seconded and approved on a roll call vote with members recorded as voting "Yes."
Committee chairs presented recommended items from Communication, Policy and Planning (committee recommended nine items; the motion referenced adoption of four as stated in the record), Curriculum, Extracurricular Activities and Technology (four items), Finance and Insurance (eight items), Dining and Transportation (five items), and the Equity Commission (one item). Each committee's motion was moved and seconded and carried on recorded roll calls.
The Personnel Committee presented 35 personnel recommendations. The motion to adopt the personnel slate passed on roll call; Board Member Linda Trebwasser announced an abstention on item 14 ("I abstain in the name Linda Trebwasser on item 14") and voted "Yes" on the remaining items.
For the record, the secretary noted receipt of IFB26-09 (student transportation routes) on Dec. 9, 2025. The finance committee announced that auditors will make a presentation at the next regular board meeting. No additional formal votes or dollar amounts tied to these motions were recorded in the public portion of the transcript.
The board closed with holiday remarks and a motion to adjourn.
