Delaware County supervisors approve slate of 2025 budget amendments, accept grant funds and set public hearing

During the budget presentation, a presenter described the proposed tax-rate increase of 2.4929% and explained that sales-tax allocations include an automatic 25% distribution for highway/solid-waste accounts; the presenter said no additional sales tax is being used beyond currently available receipts and that the budget does not exceed the legal tax cap.
