The Panama City Community Redevelopment Agency on Dec. 2 approved an FY26 interlocal agreement with the City of Panama City Parks, Culture and Recreation Department for maintenance of CRA improvements and assets in the amount of $255,655.
Staff told the board the cost centers that comprise the total are spelled out in the supporting packet and confirmed the amount is budgeted in the FY26 CRA budget. During deliberations board members asked where funds would be drawn if an item were not budgeted; staff clarified that the form language referring to alternate funding sources applies only when items are not budgeted.
Board members also asked about a planned software tool to track work orders and maintenance tasks. Staff said the software submission was pending IT review and that a basic build‑out would take about a month after sign‑up and might produce usable reports starting in March.
The board approved the interlocal agreement and authorized the CRA executive director to execute it; the roll call recorded five yes votes (Granger, Street, Hughes, Lucas and Chairman Branch).
