The Dickson County School Board voted Dec. 18 to postpone consideration of a server-protection and endpoint-security purchase to its January meeting.

Staff told the board they had not received the necessary vendor quote and requested the item be tabled. Board Member (Speaker 12) moved to postpone; the motion was seconded and the board voted to delay discussion until January ('Motion carries').

No vendor, cost estimate or procurement schedule was presented during the Dec. 18 meeting; staff said they will bring the quote and additional information to the January meeting for a full discussion and potential vote.
