He summarized inmate-work hours and other operational metrics, and said inmates provided roadside trash cleanup covering 196 miles and removing 2,104 bags of trash in the prior month.
Scott told the court that emergency-management staff attended multiple coordination meetings, completed trainings (including a 60-hour water technician course), and responded to a fatal accident and a hazmat assistance call in November. Scott said the county’s RAVE emergency-notification push gained "over 1,500 new sign ups" in the last six months and that a backpack flyer program distributed roughly "10,000" flyers through the Hardin County School System.
