The Boulder Urban Renewal Authority on Dec. 18 approved Resolution No. 3, Series 2025, adopting an administrative cost-allocation agreement with the City of Boulder that will advance administrative funds to the authority and authorize the chair to sign the agreement. The motion to adopt the resolution passed 3 to 0.
Chair David Beak read the resolution into the record and moved its adoption, saying the measure was "approving an administrative cost allocation agreement between the Boulder Urban Renewal Authority and the City of Boulder to advance administrative costs and funds to the Boulder Urban Renewal Authority and authorizing the chairperson of the Boulder Urban Renewal Authority to execute such agreement." The board recorded the outcome as "Passes 3 to 0."
City and BURA staff clarified next steps after the vote. A staff member said the chair would sign the agreement and "Nuria would be submitting on behalf of the city," and that Selena would circulate the document for signatures.
The resolution authorizes BURA to receive administrative funding advances from the City under the terms specified in the agreement. The board did not record additional debate or amendments during the meeting; the motion was moved, seconded and approved in the same session.
The chair is expected to execute the agreement following the vote and staff will handle submittal to the city. The meeting did not record further details about timelines for fund transfers or operational changes tied to the agreement.
The authority adjourned after completing the day's business.
