Samantha, a marketing staff member for the agency, reported on outreach activities and analytics from Oct. 22 to Nov. 18, describing gains on Facebook and LinkedIn and ongoing website and email improvements.
"From that time frame, we had 5,500 viewers. We gained 16 followers," Samantha said while walking through Facebook metrics. She said a LinkedIn post tied to the economic development forum achieved a roughly 40% engagement rate and that a PDF carousel post posted well. She also described attending a two-day Canva seminar to improve brand consistency and learn video and AI-enabled content techniques.
On email outreach, Samantha said she cleaned the contact database from roughly 6,000 entries down to 4,122 to reduce bounces that hurt deliverability; the recent campaign posted a 30% open rate and a 2% click-through rate. She proposed a new "virtual real estate" page and a commercial properties page for the IDA website and previewed plans for a poster contest and Brownfields Developer Summit participation in April.
Board members asked questions about tenant outreach and suggested a group photo after the holidays. The board acknowledged the work and thanked Samantha for the updates.
