Board approves contracts for student placements and field repairs, plus routine consent agendas

Treasurer Missus Boire presented the treasurer's consent agenda, noting updated 2025 valuations will alter tax buckets and that county calculations are pending; trustees approved the consent agenda. Missus Boire said the valuation changes will not materially affect the current fiscal year but could influence fiscal‑year 2027 forecasting.
The board approved the superintendent's personnel consent agenda, which included a coach resignation, hiring of a paraprofessional (with extra preps), stipends for teachers running CCP courses and a revision to a recent paraprofessional hire.
Administration recommended and the board approved a contract with the Warren County Educational Service Center to place three students in outside placements; board members clarified the count is total (three students).
The board also approved concrete work at the baseball and softball fields with Taggart Construction, including removal of existing slabs, new slab installation, dugout floor repairs and bleacher slab work.
