Nixa council approves TAP supplement, appointments and schedules closed session

The Nixa City Council on Nov. 25 handled several procedural and consent matters, approving a technical correction to a transportation alternatives program (TAP) supplement agreement, consenting to mayoral appointments to the Public Building Corporation board, and voting to enter closed session.
City attorney Nick Goodman explained the TAP supplement ordinance (council bill 2025‑35) had been previously approved but returned to council with the correct exhibit after a technical error. The ordinance was moved, seconded and passed on a roll call vote.
Miss Coffey read resolution 2025‑52 consenting to mayoral appointments to the Public Building Corporation board (four seats described and terms specified). The council approved the resolution by voice vote.
Later in the meeting an unidentified council member moved to go into closed session under sections of the Missouri Revised Statutes (RSMO) cited in the motion; the motion, including a request to close related records, was seconded and passed on a roll call vote. The council stood adjourned after the closed session motion.
Votes recorded for the two ordinances and the closed session motion were consistent with staff recommendations; no substantive debate changed the measures at the meeting.
