Staff said the project would create about 20 direct jobs at an average annual wage of approximately $57,000, plus additional indirect employment.
The board moved and approved the grant and authorization to execute an economic development agreement by unanimous vote.
Next steps: County staff and the developer will finalize incentive terms and execute an agreement; staff said the company hopes to make a location decision by the end of the month or in early January.
