The Crest Hill Plan Commission voted unanimously Dec. 11 to recommend city council approval of three staff-proposed text amendments to the city zoning ordinance, Code of Ordinances and Development Handbook intended to streamline development and reduce administrative hurdles.
Daniel Ritter, Crest Hill’s community and economic development director, told the commission the changes are intended to update rules that no longer match current practice. "Our current code requires court reporters to be present," Ritter said, adding that meetings are recorded and minutes are posted.
