A representative from SuperEval demonstrated an online superintendent-evaluation platform at the Woodland CCSD 50 board meeting on Dec. 16, outlining customization options, evidence-based portfolios and automated consolidation of board responses.
Erin, the SuperEval presenter, walked the board through the platform’s five-step workflow—goal setting, reflection, evidence collection, board review and consolidated evaluation—and showed how rubrics (including a common 4-point scale) can be narrowed each year to focus priorities. "It is a simple, efficient, evidence based online evaluation system," she said.
Erin outlined pricing for the district’s tier (approximately $3,006 per year) and a one-time onboarding fee of $395. Because the district is mid-year, she offered a 50% discount for a January–June trial to let the board test the system in a sandbox account.
Board members compared SuperEval with the district’s existing use of Frontline for applications and professional growth. Several trustees asked about scale flexibility, rubric libraries and whether the district could get a sandbox account to pilot the product; the presenter said that is commonly provided.
No contract decisions were recorded at the meeting; the chair said Erin would send a recap and the board would consider a sandbox account and pricing for further discussion in January.
