Whiteland RDC reports $1.72 million fund balance; receives $92,000 refund from Franklin

Unidentified Speaker 2 delivered the report, stating: "So for this month, our total disbursed was $19,157 even. Our current fund balance for the RDC account is $1,719,012.05. And then the RDC account was able to profit $4,110.37 as interest for the month of November from the bank." When the chair asked for clarification, the speaker repeated the interest amount: "$4,110.37." The report drew no substantive questions.
Commissioner Carmen reported a reimbursement related to the Polehand and Graham Road roundabout. Carmen said the project came in under budget and that "we received actually a check back from the city of Franklin for about $92,000." She added the reimbursement arrived in December and will appear on next month’s records; she said she did not prepare her usual spreadsheet because she had been "a little chaotic" and asked if there were any questions.
The commission handled routine consent matters during the meeting: the minutes from the previous meeting were accepted on a motion and roll-call vote recorded as unanimous, and a motion to accept voucher packet 21125 passed by roll call (vote recorded as 4–0). Members also discussed technical/access issues for virtual attendance: a participant named Brian was unable to join earlier because of an international-blocking setting, and others noted VPN settings can prevent joining until adjusted.
