Diana, a staff member in the economic development department, introduced a request to change the authority’s regular 2026 meeting date from the first Tuesday of each month to the second Thursday. Diana said the change would reduce conflicts with holiday schedules and give members and staff more time to consult with legal and review materials. "Oftentimes, we found that the first Tuesday can conflict with holiday schedules or come immediately following a holiday," she said.
A board member moved to approve the revised 2026 schedule and another member seconded the motion; the chair recorded the vote as approved. The board recorded the vote as five in favor and none opposed.
The meeting agenda then proceeded to presentations and economic development updates before adjourning at about 6:22 p.m.
