The board unanimously approved the consent agenda (item 4.12) after a motion and second. The treasurer presented the usual financial paperwork and noted a $60,000 donation from the Weisberg family to fund after-school tutoring at three district schools; the board later approved the financial items (5.05).
Personnel sections 6.01 (professional personnel) and 6.02 (service personnel) were approved by voice vote. Superintendent Hardesty announced Christopher Eastham as the new principal of Anita Middle School and the board welcomed him.
The board entered executive session on a personnel matter and later returned to open session. Following the executive session, the superintendent recommended and the board approved ratifying the administrative leave of Maurice Aloof with pay that began 11/05/2025 and to continue until a resolution is reached. Miss Neely made the motion to approve the superintendent's recommendation and Miss Smalley seconded the motion; the board voted in favor.
The superintendent proposed a January work session to discuss next fiscal-year funding projections; by consensus the board set Monday, Jan. 12 at 3:30 p.m. for the session. The board adjourned at 5:43 p.m.
