SACO, Maine — In a series of routine motions on Nov. 10, 2025, the Saco City Council approved minutes and consent agenda items, advanced a first reading of administrative code updates and scheduled upcoming public hearings and second readings.
The council approved the Oct. 20, 2025 minutes after a motion by Councilor Hatch and a second by Councilor Edwards; the roll call vote was 5–0. Two consent items were approved 5–0: a license application to operate bingo for BPOE 1597 and the council meeting schedule for January–March 2026 (motion by Councilor Berman; second by Councilor Hatch).
Councilor Hatch moved to approve the first reading of updates to Administrative Code Chapter 4, Article 5 (departments and divisions) and to schedule a public hearing on Nov. 24, 2025; Councilor Edwards seconded and the motion passed 5–0. Councilor Edwards moved to close the public hearing on amendments to Saco Code Chapter 1‑12 (general assistance appendices) and to schedule the second and final reading for Nov. 17, 2025; Councilor Hewitt seconded and the motion passed 5–0.
The meeting adjourned after a unanimous roll call vote approving the motion to adjourn.
