The Campton Hills Village Board voted Dec. 16 to adopt Ordinance 25-44, amending the village zoning map to subdivide property located at 41 W 250 (Route 38).
Planning and zoning staff recommended approval and the applicant was present to answer questions. Trustees asked staff and the applicant a few clarifying questions; planning staff and trustees said the application was straightforward and that the commission had vetted the proposal.
The board approved the ordinance by roll call. Trustees indicated the planning and zoning department and the applicant had taken necessary steps for the subdivision, and the item will move to permit and implementation steps with village staff.
What happens next: Village staff will complete the subdivision record updates, follow any ministerial permit steps and notify relevant departments.
