Mister Robinson (city department representative) told the council the city recently lost a water-treatment plant employee in a tragic accident at his home, calling the loss "quite a shock to my crew and the crew he worked with at the water treatment plant." He offered condolences to the worker’s family and said the family will have a private graveside service; the city plans a public memorial event in February.
Robinson asked the council to pass along condolences to the family and acknowledged the employee was "an integral part of our crew" who will be hard to replace. The council responded with expressions of sympathy, and the presiding official said the council’s thoughts and prayers are with the family.
