Lake Forest council honors retiring city attorney Julie Tappendorf

Tappendorf thanked the council and staff. ‘‘I probably won't miss my meetings as much as any other part, but I have loved working with Lake Forest,’’ she said, adding that working with city staff had been “my pleasure.”
The resolution will be spread on the permanent records of the city council and a signed copy will be delivered to Tappendorf, the mayor said.
No formal follow-up or action items were recorded beyond the resolution and the presentation of the signed copy.
