Beyond major agenda items, staff reported that playground equipment purchased from Susan King Taylor has been retrieved and that park improvements will begin in selected locations. County staff also noted a $20,000 reimbursement check related to hurricane response and reminded commissioners of a Fire Services graduation and new recruit class dates.

The board instructed staff to send dates for an annual commissioners workshop and to reconvene a subdivisions committee with engineers and stakeholders. Commissioners closed the meeting with holiday remarks and adjourned.
